West Virginia Christian University
An extension campus of
Life Christian University
A message from our director . . .
My vision for WVCU is to provide sound Bible training for people in
North Central West Virginia. Now they don't have to move their families
out of state to attend Bible College. Over the past 6 years, 35 area
churches have been represented in our student body. Some 25 pastors and
other members of the 5-fold ministry have taken classes at WVCU. Many have
received Bachelors, Masters, and even Doctorate degrees. WVCU can prepare
those called to the ministry to effectively follow their calling, and can
offer Christians a place to mature in God's word! See you in class!
Class schedule
Classes are Thursday nights from 6:30 - 9:15
September through May
Unlike most other schools, WVCU gives a greater opportunity to attend
college by accepting new students at the beginning of any new month!
How does it work?
4 nights = 1 course = 3 credit hours
The same subject is taught 4 Thursdays in succession earning 3 college
credits. A total of 9 courses are offered to complete one year of study
for a total of 27 credit hours. 3 more hours are earned by completing the
"ministry practicum" volunteer work at your home church, for a grand total
of 30 hours.
