We are pleased to invite ladies of every age and denomination to our annual spring conference, "Planted by the Water." Once again, we believe that God has an awesome plan for us as He invites us to gather together for a day to bask in His presence and sit at His feet to hear His Word. Come expecting God to touch your life through our speakers and worship leader. This is a day made especially for you!

"It's A Dung Deal! Antidote for Barrenness" Do you sometimes feel that life "stinks"? The truth is - it probably does! God not only prunes things from our lives, but He also allows "dung" (or difficulties) to come into our lives to enable us to be effective and productive. In the words of Dr. David Jeremiah, "The believer has to look above the unpleasantness of the trial and find joy in what God will accomplish by it." Join me as we look at how God uses the “stinky” things in life to promote growth in us and to advance His kingdom.

"Pruning . . . Pain with Promise" Have you ever seen an apple tree on an abandoned farm? It is usually a strange looking, crooked tree with a few leaves and many dead branches. Unfortunately, being in this condition, all the tree ever produces is a few small, extremely bitter apples with numerous spots. On the other hand, if you go to a commercial apple orchard, you will find picture perfect, leafy trees that are loaded with large, juicy, extremely sweet fruit. What is the difference? The next question will take some very serious soul searching. Which of these two apple trees are you like in your spiritual life? But maybe instead I should ask, "Which would you like to be?” Do you want to be producing a wormy, bitter fruit or do you want to be producing an abundance of delicious fruit? Jesus told His disciples that you can tell if someone truly belongs to Him by the kind of spiritual fruit they produce. "Ask yourself if you are willing to pay the price to be known?" If so, then come to this workshop and let the pruning process begin……….

...Every healthy (sound) tree
bears good fruit [worthy of admiration],
but the sickly (decaying, worthless) tree
 bears bad (worthless) fruit.
A good (healthy) tree cannot bear bad (worthless) fruit,
nor can a bad (diseased) tree
bear excellent fruit [worthy of admiration]...
Therefore, you will fully know them by their fruits.
Matthew 7:17-20 (AMP)

"A Mustard Seed: When you feel your life isn't worth much!" Living in a world so darkened with sin, it is easy for Christians to loose sight of our true purpose of being here. We look around us and try to fit our Christ filled lives into the mould of the world in which we live. We constantly think that we are not smart enough, or pretty enough. We feel that we do not have enough money or the right prestigious job. We are not as popular as we want to be . . . and before we know it we are beating ourselves up and we are feeling small, worthless, and insignificant.

We are in this world, not of it (Jn 15:19) For us to be the Christian women that God has called us to be, planted by the water and yielding much fruit (Ps 1:3), we cannot feel that our lives are not worth anything or that we are invaluable. We must know who we are in Christ and know that God is using us to make a difference. Join us in digging into God's word and finding out who YOU are in Christ, and how much GOD wants you for who you are right now!

"It's not too late - Cultivate!" Jesus may have been a carpenter, but He seemed to know a lot about farming. The ideas of sowing and reaping are easy, and after attending this session you'll see that so is the process of planting the seeds of God's love in your community. This fun session is sure to 'produce' some great outreach ideas that any size congregation can do, and will get your church on the way to reaping a harvest of new attendees and greater fellowship in your church.

"Season to Dance" Is dance in the church biblical? 2 Samuel 6:14 says, “And David danced before the LORD with all his might.” Many have argued that it was not choreographed dance. A study into Jewish culture tells us that dances were taught and learned among all of God’s people. Each dance had a title and was used for different occasions. David was in free worship of the Lord. He didn’t have an audience. His only goal was to bless the Lord. Today, we are dancing to bless the Lord, but we also dance together to celebrate all that the Lord has done for us. Each dance you see today, as well as the one you will learn in this workshop, has been prayed about. Each move comes with a meaning…something that it represents… some-thing God wants to say through the dance. Step out of your comfort zone… Join us for a brief biblical teaching on church dance and experience for yourself the freedom of worshiping our God through the dance.

Grace by Faith ladies dance team was organized in 2006. The Lord impressed upon these ladies a longing for more freedom in worship and a desire to minister through dance. “Grace by Faith” has become a group of “sisters” unified as a family, holding each other accountable, encouraging, and showing compassion and unconditional love in times of need. They do not only minister to others but also to each other. Their main focus is to glorify the Lord. Each dance has been a gift that God has given to “Grace by Faith” in order to reach out and bless you with God’s love and express His desire for us to worship Him in freedom. May you be blessed and God be glorified.

Basking in the Son - Living in the flame of the Lord
This involves the comfort as well as the correction of the flame. We all want to grow and be strong in the Lord. Plants need sun to be healthy, to grow, and be fruitful. We are called the plantings of the Lord (Ps. 61). Just as the warmth of the sun in the first days of spring causes new growth of plants to spring forth, we need time with the “Son” to bring new growth in us. The coldness of our hearts are melted as we bask in His presence and the flames within our hearts are kindled once again. Join Kent in this workshop and discover just how to "bask in the Son" and allow the light of His glory to shine through us!
