The Eleven Goat Girls - What an odd name
for a Bible Study!
We are studying "Restore My Heart" by
Denise Glenn. This study reveals God's passionate love for His bride. We
are leaning Jewish wedding traditions to help us understand the biblical
truth about how radically, unreasonably, and almost ridiculously you are
loved by the Lord Jesus Christ, our heavenly bridegroom.
Each prospective bride had a "Bride Price"
the father required to be paid by the groom. If you were a "10 Goat Girl",
you were Very Expensive. Our Friday night girls decided they were
valuable; thus the name "Eleven Goat Girls". We value these girls
and love them immensely.
