The Way Of Holiness Church (Is. 35:8) is a ministry ordained of God, the Father, under the Lordship
of Jesus Christ and the Leadership of the Holy Ghost.

The sole purpose of this ministry is the advancement of the body and kingdom of Jesus Christ in the earth.

This will be accomplished through a fivefold ministry and church body working together in unity to this end.

The Lord's goals and purposes for the Church are:

1. Reaching the lost with the message of salvation.
2. Providing a corporate worship atmosphere where believers can enjoy the presence of the Lord and the fellowship of brothers and sisters in Christ.
3. Bringing believers to maturity in Christ through the ministry of the word, stressing a personal fellowship with Jesus through the Holy Spirit.
4. Equipping the saints for ministry.
5. Meeting the needs of the communities, both physical and spiritual.
6. Planting churches, ministries, and missions as the Holy Spirit directs.

  Is the Son of God

• Was Born of  the Virgin Mary, according to the scriptures
  (Luke 1:31-35; Matthew 1:23; Isaiah 7:14; Isaiah 9:6-7)
   
• Lived a sinless life
  (Hebrews 7:16; 1 Peter 2:22-23)
   
• Performed many miracles, demonstrating His power over nature, sickness, unclean spirits, and even death
  (Acts 2:22; Acts 10:38; John 20:30-31; Luke 5:4-6; Mark 3:3-5; Mark 5:7-9; John 11:25, 41-44)
   
• Died in our place on the cross at Calvary
  (John 19:15-18, 28, 30;  2 Corinthians 5:21; Romans 3:23-26)
   
• Paid the debt of sin for each sinner according to the Grace of God
  (1 Corinthians 15:3; Ephesians 2:8-9)
   
• Thereby providing salvation to whosoever believes
  (John 3:16; Romans 6:23; Romans 10:9-10; Romans 5:9)
   
• Was buried and rose again bodily on the third day
  (John 19:38-42; Luke 24:1-7; Matthew 28:6)
   
• Was seen of many witnesses after His Resurrection
  (Luke 24:33-36; 1 Corinthians 15:5-8)
   
• Ascended to the Father where He lives to make intercession for us
  (Acts 1:9-11; Mark 16:19; Hebrews 4:14-16; Hebrews 7:25; 1 John 2:1)
   
• Is coming again soon, to receive the church to Himself, and to reign in power and glory
  (John 14:1-3; Matthew 26:64;  Acts 1:10-11; 1 Corinthians 15:50-52; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)

The church is the Body of Christ, composed of men and women of every nation and race, who
believe on the name of Jesus Christ as both Lord and Savior
(Romans 12:5; 1 Corinthians 12:12-14; Ephesians 4:1-6)

That salvation is not merely an event, but a spiritual regeneration, or new birth, that begins a
vital relationship with God through the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit, who
desires to help every believer conform to the character of Jesus Christ
(John 3:3; Acts 1:8; Romans 12:1-2)

The Grace of God through the Blood of Jesus Christ is sufficient to cover all sin, but repentance is essential to accepting the Lordship of Christ; and willful sin is contrary to accepting His Lordship
(Psalm 85:2; Matthew 3:2; Luke 24:27; Mark 1:15; Luke 6:46; 1 John 1:6-9)

That water baptism by immersion in the Name of Jesus Christ is the
new believer's obedient declaration of faith
(Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38; Acts 10:48; Acts 19:5)

In the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in
other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance
(Acts 2:4; Acts 10:46-47; Acts 19:4-6)

In partaking of the bread and the fruit of the vine, as a memorial of the suffering and death of
our Lord Jesus, and as a symbol of expressing our sharing of His Divine Nature
(1 Corinthians 11:26; 1Peter 1:4)

That life begins at conception, and the willful and selfish termination
of the life of the unborn is the sin of murder
(Psalm 139:13-16; Jeremiah 1:5; Exodus 20:13)

That God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female; these
two distinct, complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God. Rejection of one's biological sex is a rejection of the image of God within that person
(Genisis 1:26-27; Matthew 19:4)

That the term "marriage" has only one meaning:  The uniting of one man (biological male) and one woman (biological female) a single exclusive covenant union, as delineated in scripture
(Genesis 2:21-24; Matthew 19:4-6)

That all sexual activity outside the scriptural covenant of marriage is immoral, considered sin and forbidden by scripture
(1 Corinthians 6:18-20; Hebrews 13:4; Matthew 19:4-9)

That God offers redemption and restoration to all who confess and forsake their sin, seeking His mercy and forgiveness through the finished work of Christ on the Cross
(Acts 3:19-21; Romans 10:9-10; 1 Corinthians 6:9-11)

We believe that every person must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect and dignity. Hateful and harassing behavior or attitudes toward any individual are to be repudiated and are not in accord with scripture nor the doctrines of The Way Of Holiness Church

The statement of faith does not exhaust the extent of our faith, the Bible itself is the sole and final source of all that we believe. We do believe, however, that the foregoing statement of faith accurately represents the teaching of the Bible.
